Read MoreThe sheriff in Buffalo County says a tanker wreck could have been worse. The sheriff says the tanker rolled down a steep hill and landed in a ditch Saturday morning. Deputies say the truck couldn’t make it up the slick road on County Highway KK, slid backwards, then rolled down the hill. The driver was the only person in the truck, and wasn’t injured. No one is saying just what was inside the tank at the time.

Read MoreA Wisconsin group that takes care of injured birds is releasing bald eagles back into the wild. Four bald eagles were released Saturday afternoon in Sauk City after being rehabilitated by the Raptor Education Group. The nonprofit group from Antigo said three of the birds were poisoned by lead and were receiving treatment. Next weekend, the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources will host its annual Bald Eagle Watching Days with a live raptor show at the River Arts Center at Sauk Prairie High School.
