The focus on childhood obesity shifts to northern Wisconsin today. The Speaker’s Task Force on Obesity will hold a public meeting in Wisconsin Rapids. The idea is to hear from leaders with the Menominee Tribe about the needs on their reservation. The Task Force on Obesity is looking to make recommendations to the legislature about possible future laws that could help deal with the explosion in childhood obesity across the state.
