There will be more testimony today in the case of a teenager charged with killing a western Wisconsin 10-year-old. The lawyers for the suspect accused of killing Lily Peters in Chippewa Falls last year questioned four experts from the Wisconsin Department of Corrections yesterday about the differences between juvenile prison and adult prison. Challenge to WI Abortion Law Could See Fast Track

Wisconsin’s attorney general wants to speed-up his challenge to Wisconsin’s abortion law. A-G Josh Kaul yesterday asked a Dane County judge to rule immediately on Wisconsin’s 1849 abortion ban. Kaul wants the judge to declare the law unenforceable. That would fast track the case for the Wisconsin Supreme Court. Judge to Decide Court Placement

There’s a chance the 15-year-old accused of killing ten-year-old Lily Peters could have his case moved to juvenile court.  The suspect appeared in court in Chippewa Falls this morning.  The judge in the case is spending the week deciding if his case will be moved to juvenile court and the hearing is expected to last until August 14th.
