Republicans at the Wisconsin Capitol are ready to approve another doomed tax cut. The Assembly is set to vote this afternoon on a nearly three-billion-dollar tax cut package that would give most taxpayers in the state about 700 dollars of their money back. The Common Council is expected to vote on new rules that would allow people to own one pig, as long as it is vaccinated and neutered, inside the city limits. The move comes after a couple of pig owners were told they had to get rid of their pet swine.
