Investigators are looking for whatever caused a New Year’s Day fire at an apartment complex in Keil. Crews from a half dozen fire departments helped fight the at the apartments on Chicago Street. Read More2023 will go down as the eighth warmest year on record in Eau Claire. Forecasters say the city saw its first 100 degree day since 2011, and saw a feels-like temperature of 110 last year. Eau Claire’s coldest day was last January 31st, when the thermometer fell to 19 below. Forecasters also say it was a dry year for Eau Claire. 2023 appears to be the 54th driest year on record.
