Mississippi’s state auditor says former NFL quarterback, Brett Favre still owes nearly 800 thousand-dollars in his welfare fraud case.
Mississippi Auditor Shad White yesterday demanded that Favre pay 730 thousand-dollars in fines and interest on the money he took for speeches that he never gave. Favre repaid the just over a million-dollars that he was given by the Mississippi Department of Human Services back in 2020. Favre never admitted any guilt in the case, and he was never charged. White says Favre has never paid the interest in the case, and is now suing Favre to get the money.
