The Baraboo School District is making curriculum changes to address backlash from a controversial photo of students. The Wisconsin State-Journals says the district sent a letter to parents last night describing how it would improve the way it educates students on the Holocaust after a group of students appeared to give a Nazi salute in a picture taken earlier this year. Those improvements include trips to the Illinois Holocaust Museum and inviting Holocaust speakers to campuses.

Read MoreThe Polk County Sheriff’s Department is asking the public for information on a dog that was killed in Balsam Lake. Deputies say the dog was killed in the 18-hundred block of 120th Street on November 24th and was discovered by its owner the next day. The department currently believes the dog may have been shot and then cut or sliced. Anyone with information is being asked to contact the sheriff’s department.

He was convicted of two counts of third-degree sexual assault and will be supervised by the Department of Corrections for the next year.
