Another option pulls into the Ap Parking Lot. The Wisconsin Department of Transportation is offering people one more option to find a ride if they’ve had too much to drink. WisDOT’s new app includes a feature to show you nearby taxis or city buses. Managers say the idea is to give people another option to get home, and hopefully keep people from drinking and driving.

Just before 9 on Sunday morning, a Wisconsin State Patrol Trooper stopped Rios-Martinez for speeding, clocked at 97mph in a 70mph zone. A subsequent investigation including a standardized field sobriety test was conducted and he was arrested and incarcerated in the Dunn County Jail.

Byer Nevins is accused of injuring someone during the hit and run while driving intoxicated near the Chippewa River Bridge on August 7th. Nevins was identified after his car was found and the people inside told police he was the one driving. He’s facing ten charges in the case.

Henry Berg was accused of fraudulently obtaining a 650-thousand dollar loan and then defaulting on it back in 2015. Berg claimed he got the loan for his farm but he reportedly subleased the land to a relative, didn’t repay the loan, and sold the collateral and kept the proceeds. He received his sentence yesterday and will report to prison on October 4th.
