A married couple is charged with sexually assaulting at least two children for more than a decade. Linda and Richard Getter both face multiple charges in Trempealeau County. Authorities say the abuse began when the children were seven and nine. The victims are now adults and came forward to investigators last month. Richard and Linda are set to appear in court next week.

Three assaults were reported over the weekend within a one-block radius in the area of West Lincoln Avenue and Street. In all three cases, the victims were punched, including a woman who was knocked unconscious. UW-Oshkosh police are advising students to make sure they are visible to other people when walking and be aware of the surroundings.

Police are saying that all started when the suspects made an abrupt turn onto a side street and sped up near Hollister Avenue. Speeds reached around 100 miles per hour before the suspect vehicle crashed. The two took off and ran through a field, where one was later caught. Authorities are still searching for the other suspect.
