The fight over Wisconsin’s lame duck laws will end tomorrow. The Wisconsin Supreme Court will release its ruling tomorrow on a challenge to the laws that Republicans passed back in December. The specific case before the court dealt with a law that blocked Governor Evers or Wisconsin’s attorney general from withdrawing the state from lawsuits on their own.

Eighty-two-year-old Raymond Vannieuwenhoven [[ van-you-when-hoven ]] is scheduled to enter a plea July 1st for the murders of David Schuldes and Ellen Matheys in McClintock Park in 1976. DNA samples from evidence at the crime scene was tested last year and determined to be from the Vannieuwenhoven family. He was ordered today to stand trial, but that date has not been set.
