Students from Black River Falls are being honored in Washington D.C. Red Creek Elementary students had the honor of making ornaments to represent Wisconsin on this year’s national Christmas tree at the White House. The tree was lit for the first time Thursday night.

He was shot by resource officer Michael Wissink during a confrontation in Wissink’s office on Tuesday. The teen stabbed Wissink who wounded the teen with one shot.
