There’s one month left to raise money for renovations on the L.E. Phillips Senior Center in Eau Claire. Officials with the senior center say they’ve raised about 670-thousand dollars of their one-point-one-million dollar goal. Their deadline is February 14th.

A judge in Chippewa falls yesterday sentenced Andrew Conklin to eight months in jail and five years probation for embezzlement. Conklin pleaded guilty last week.
