State transportation officials estimate nearly 250-thousand drivers in Wisconsin can renew their license online this year. Earlier this month, the Division of Motor Vehicles launched programs to reduce in-person visits to their offices during the pandemic. To qualify, drivers must have a regular Class D license with no medical restrictions or further deterioration in their vision. The state’s Department of Health Services yesterday reported that for Saturday and Sunday 881 people tested positive for the virus.
