The former West Allis police officer who admitted to killing two women and stuffing their bodies into suitcases can continue to fight his guilty plea. A judge this week said Steven Zelich can try and withdraw one of his pleas. Zelich pleaded guilty in 2016 to choking 19-year-old Jenny Gamez to death, then trying to hide her body. Milwaukee Election Commission director Claire Woodall-Vogg said the 65 ballots were found inside a voting machine.
