Numbers from the state’s Department of Health Services show that just one-percent of people who’ve ever tested positive have died from or with the virus. Nearly 80-percent of the people who’ve died with the virus are 70-plus, and many of them had underlying health conditions. DHS says, since last March, over 556-thousand people in Wisconsin have tested positive for the virus. Just over 62-hundred of them died.
