A criminal complaint shows Michelle Eisold was accused of stealing 60-thousand dollars from the victim in total. The victim told investigators on one occasion Eisold asked to borrow 46-thousand-dollars to buy new vans for her taxi service in Chippewa Falls. Eisold told police the money was a gift. She’s due in court in May.

The state’s Department of Human Services says just over 600 of them have tested positive for COVID. DHS released the numbers on post-vaccination positives yesterday. Governor Tony Evers yesterday signed a new law that eliminates the requirement that first responders prove their PTSD came from ‘unusual stress’ on the job. The new law simply requires that first responders be diagnosed with PTSD to qualify. Benefits will last for 32 weeks, and the new law caps first responders to three claims during their entire career.
