WI Air Quality Comes with Warning

 There’s a warning about air quality for folks from Kenosha all the way up to Door County. The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is leaving its Air Quality Advisory in place til later tonight. DNR says people who are sensitive to smoke or other particulates may have a tough time with the air quality. DNR says the heat and humidity will make things worse for people who may have breathing troubles.

Searh Continues for Missing Boater in Sauk Co.

Crews will be back on the Wisconsin River in Sauk County as they continue to look for a missing boater. Friends and family members haven’t seen 22-year-old Parker Kruse since he was knocked into the river during a rescue attempt on Saturday. Authorities say Kruse and a friend rescued a man whose boat was spinning out of control. On the way back, the out of control boat hit Kruse’s boat, and he went into the river. He never came back up.

Bucks Do It

The Milwaukee Bucks are in the NBA Finals.  Yesterday, the Bucks defeated Atlanta 118 to 107 in Game Six to take the Eastern Conference and advance to the finals against Phoenix.   It’s the first time the Bucks have gotten to the Finals since 1974.  The series against the Suns starts Tuesday evening in Phoenix.

 The Wisconsin Badgers starting quarterback now has his own merchandise sales site online.  Graham Mertz revealed his new site on Thursday which was the first day of the new NCAA measure allowing college athletes to commercialize themselves.  Mertz announced on Twitter that he is now selling t-shirts and other personalized merchandise at GrahamMertzShop-dot-com.

DNR Reminds Boaters of Water Safety

Boaters in Wisconsin are being advised to use caution this Independence Day weekend.  The state Department of Natural Resources says there are 20-thousand more active boating registrations this season compared to before the appearance of COVID-19.   Lieutenant Darren Kuhn with the Wisconsin DNR says with so many boaters on the water, it becomes even more important than usual for everyone to avoid alcohol consumption and wear a life jacket.

Manhunt Continues in WI

  A murder suspect is still on the loose after beginning in Oneida County. Sheriff’s investigators say 30-year old Christopher Anderson also known as DJ Bravo has still not been located since Tuesday morning.  The body of 26-year old Hannah Miller was found Tuesday on State Highway Eight.  She had been shot.  Investigators accuse Anderson of the crime saying he used a gun belonging to Miller.  The two have a child together who investigators say is safe.  Anderson is on

Undercover Operation Busts 5 For Human Trafficking

An undercover operation in Sheboygan County leads to the arrest of five people for human trafficking.  No names have been released, but authorities say the investigation targeted prostitution and solicitation as well as trafficking.  In addition to the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office numerous departments were involved in the undercover sting including the Wisconsin State Patrol and police from Plymouth, Kohler, Sheboygan Falls, Elkhart Lake and the Sheboygan County District Attorney’s office.
