A dive team, K-9 units and Dane County deputies have all been involved in a search today of a pond near the home of a missing Windsor woman. Krista Halderson disappeared with her husband earlier this month. His remains were found in Cottage Grove. The couple’s son Chandler Halderson is charged with his father’s murder but his mother has not been found.

In all, the states will split 26-billion from the makers of opioid pain pills. Kaul says the state has about a month to finalize the deal. He says Wisconsin will get the maximum if local governments join the settlement as well. But that would mean they would have to drop their lawsuits against the same opioid pill makers.
