Thousands of Wisconsin tenants could face eviction by the end of this year. The federal moratorium on evictions ends on Saturday and a survey by Quote Wizard by Lending Tree shows ten-percent of Wisconsinites are behind on their rent with 36-percent of those facing eviction. Of those facing eviction across the country 27-percent are women and 22-percent are men. One major problem is housing costs have risen nationwide by nearly 70-percent in the last ten years while income is up only 30-percent.

In a letter posted on his website this weekend, the Cardinal says he is rehabbing at home and still has difficulty breathing and is dealing with fatigue. Burke contracted the disease in early August and was put on a ventilator around the middle of the month. He was able to be removed from the ventilator and left the hospital on September 3rd.
