Hundreds of Wisconsin National Guard troops are ready to move into Kenosha as soon as they get the call. Governor Evers on Friday placed 500 soldiers on standby ahead of a verdict in the Kyle Rittenhouse trial. Closing arguments are today, and the jury could get the case by the end of the day. There’s a search for answers in Green Bay following a deadly shooting last night. It happened at the Marathon gas station near downtown Green Bay at about two a.m. yesterday morning. Police say a 26-year-old woman was shot several times, she later died at the hospital. Green Bay Police do not have a suspect in custody, but say this does not appear to be a random crime. The Edge Dairy Cooperative on Friday asked the new head of the FDA to crackdown on plant-based cheese and milk. Kids in Menomonie Schools are getting a longer Thanksgiving break due to the coronavirus. Superintendent Joe Zydowski sent a letter to parents explaining that there won’t be enough teachers and staff members to cover classes on Monday and Tuesday of next week, so the school is canceling classes.
