All 50 states say they have seen the COVID-19 Omicron variant. The variant was first detected 22 days ago after being discovered in South Africa less than a month ago. Omicron cases have also been reported in Washington, DC and Puerto Rico.

Today the university system announced students who are enrolled in the spring 2022 semester, work at least 50 hours in a health care setting, and meet health care and licensing requirements will qualify for a 500 dollar tuition credit.
