No charges are being filed in connection with a deadly home-break in Appleton. Investigators say Jonathan Tolley was shot and killed by a homeowner after breaking into their house last June. Investigators say Tolley forced his way into a locked bedroom where the homeowner was hiding before being shot. The shooting has been declared self-defense.

Madison Gas and Electric will own ten percent of the energy from the Red Barn Wind Farm, which is being built near Wingville and Clifton. Wisconsin Public Service will own 90 percent.
