A Poynette woman is facing her tenth OWI charge after the Wisconsin State Patrol says she crashed into a pickup truck in Sauk County. The State Patrol says Laura Parrish drove under a semi truck on Interstate-90/94 Tuesday afternoon, causing the right eastbound lane to be blocked. The State Patrol says Parrish drove away from the crash but was later found and charged with OWI and operating after revocation.

Brewers’ president of baseball operations Rick Schlesinger yesterday said the team supports changing the Stadium Freeway. Parks manager Steve Plaza yesterday said it’s a public health hazard to leave dog poop in city parks and in other people’s yards. Eau Claire allows for 200 dollar fines for anyone who doesn’t clean-up after their dogs, but Plaza said he’d rather see people just clean-up. Plaza says police have issued just seven dog poop tickets over the past four years.

That comes to six thousand-dollars per-family, and 930 thousand-dollars in all. The mayor says the money is coming from donations, not taxpayers. That includes babies and young kids between six-months and five-years-old. The CDC approved vaccines for younger kids over the weekend. DHS says 300 thousand young kids in Wisconsin are now eligible for the vaccine.
