The criminal case against a northeast Wisconsin superintendent who stripped searched her students for vape cartridges is over.
A judge in Oconto yesterday dismissed the charges against Suring Superintendent Kelly Casper. Prosecutors say she held six girls against their will during the search back in January. The judge yesterday said there’s no evidence that she held them against their will. Casper has been on paid leave from the school district since prosecutors first filed charges. The girls’ parents say they are still looking at a civil lawsuit over the strip searches.
