Construction season is here and that orange will be popping up! If your drive takes you down Golf Road, you may want to find a new route. City crews will begin road work along Golf this week. Golf Road will be closed between Golf Terrace and Commerce Valley Road, over by the Red Robin, starting today. Folsom Street will close starting Wednesday. There are detour signs posted for both roads.

General Mathews is the first female and first Native American to serve as Deputy Adjutant General of the Wisconsin Army National Guard.

Read MoreState agriculture and natural resources officials say three foxes have tested positive for bird flu. Lindsey Long with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources says the foxes most likely fed on carcasses of wild birds that were infected. The report says the infected foxes are in different sections of the state. So far in Wisconsin there have been no reports of any domestic mammalian animals that have come down with the avian flu.
