According to a press release, the parade will be held Sunday, December 4th, at 4 p.m. For nearly 60 years, the parade was held the Sunday before Thanksgiving, but the city said it must “consider lessons learned” from last year’s parade attack. By adjusting the parade’s date, more police, fire, and medical resources will be available.

They say the owners of the dog were contacted by someone after the reward was announced. Read MoreAuthorities in Eau Claire say a man is facing felony charges for vandalism. Tyler Goplin is accused of causing more than 25-hundred dollars in damage to his ex-girlfriend’s vehicle and apartment last month. Officials said Goplin sent angry text messages to the victim prior to the incident, including one that said he was in her apartment. Goplin is facing up to ten years in prison.

Police have been searching for Caleb Anderson since Tuesday when they found a person dead at a West Side apartment complex. Twenty officers in the Alabama community of Helena assisted marshals in the arrest as they were all gathered together for specialized training when reports that Anderson had been sighted came in.
