A new report says some parts of Wisconsin’s economy are still lagging. The Wisconsin Policy Forum released its new report yesterday that says Wisconsin’s job numbers and unemployment rate are almost back to where they were before the coronavirus hit. But the report says retail jobs and restaurant jobs are still struggling to catch-up, particularly in Milwaukee and Madison. The bright spot in the report is a six percent jump in warehouse and driving jobs in Wisconsin over the past two years.

Read MoreWisconsin Governor Tony Evers and state Attorney General Josh Kaul are suing 18 companies accusing them of putting forever chemicals in land, property, and natural resources. The suits were announced today in Dane County. Evers says businesses like DuPont, 3M, Tyco Fire Products, and Chemguard should have known or did know their products contained PFAS which would damage public health. They’re hoping for punitive damages plus recovering restoration and loss-of-use damages.

One person was killed in one of the shootings. The new shootings come after 14 people were shot between Friday morning and late Sunday night, and after eight more people were shot on Monday. The idea is to officially rollback the Defense of Marriage Act, and legalize gay marriage to avoid any possible showdown in the courts. Wisconsin’s four other Republican congressmen voted against the plan.
