Police are looking for a missing woman from Tomah. Ho-Chunk Nation police say Felicia Wanna, also known as Felicia Helgeson, was last seen over a week ago in Warrens. They say she may have been in La Crosse on January 3rd. Anyone with information is asked to call Ho-Chunk police.

Dairyland Power Cooperative said in a report to the state’s Department of Natural Resources that crews have cleaned most of the river that was impacted by the leak at the Dairyland Flowage Dam. Crews were able to take roughly 20 55-gallon drums of oil-impacted water out of the river.

A fire at the Associated Milk Producers facility in Portage on Monday melted 20 gallons of butter . That butter washed into the sewers, and is now causing problems at Portage’s wastewater treatment plant. DNR regulators say there’s been a minimal impact from the butter spill on the environment. Firefighters in Portage aren;t sure yet just what caused the fire.
