DOJ Agent Charged, Facing Trial in Shooting

The state DOJ agent charged in the shooting of a Madison man will go to trial.

A judge yesterday said there is enough evidence to take Agent Mark Wagner to trial for last February’s shooting of Quadren Wilson. He was shot several times during his arrest. Wagner originally said he thought Wilson had a gun, but an investigation found that Wilson was unarmed. Wilson was wanted on drug charges, and is currently in prison for drug charges. There’s no word when Wagner will go on trial.
