A sailor from La Crosse is finally getting a homecoming and a final goodbye. George Naegle died in the attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941. His remains were not identified until recently.
Now, Naegle will be buried in La Crosse and receive the funeral he never got back in 1941. Naegle’s family says everyone is invited to the funeral Saturday at the Cathedral of St. Joseph the Workman in La Crosse.
