The University of Wisconsin – Madison is looking for a new athletic director.
The Big 10 announced yesterday Chris McIntosh has taken a job within the conference office, where he will be the deputy commissioner for strategy. His resignation as athletic director went into effect yesterday, and starts his new job next month. McIntosh led Wisconsin athletics for the past five years, and was behind the hiring of Luke Fickell for football and Mike Hastin’s for men’s hockey. Deputy AD Marc Sedberry will take over the role of athletic director in the interim.
