The Chippewa County Department of Public Health announced the installation of three permanent, no-cost sharps disposal kiosks located across the county. These secure drop boxes offer a safe and convenient way for residents to dispose of used medical sharps, such as insulin needles, lancets, autoinjectors, and syringes, at any time of day or night.
“These kiosks are a practical solution to a real community need,” said Allie Isaacson, Community Health Division Manager. “We know many of our residents manage chronic health conditions like diabetes from home. They deserve a safe and convenient way to dispose of their sharps without worry and without cost.”
The new kiosks are accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and are located at:
Village of Boyd Hall: 705 E Murray Street, Boyd, WI 54726
Cornell Police Department: 221 Main Street, Cornell, WI 54732
