Child Care Problems a Focus for WI Families

Ninety-percent of Wisconsinites say they believe access to affordable, high-quality child care is a problem statewide. 

The survey was conducted by the University of Wisconsin Survey Center and the Department of Children and Families.  Nearly half of the families surveyed that already use child care report missing work or school to take care of their children.  DCF says Wisconsin families spend more than a billion dollars for child care for children under the age of five annually.
