A reserve judge is taking over cases that were previously assigned to a judge arrested by the FBI.
Hannah Dugan, a Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge, was taken into custody on Friday. She’s accused of helping an undocumented man evade Immigration and Customs Enforcement by sending agents to a different office and leading the suspect and his lawyer through a non-public hallway. Dugan has been a judge in Milwaukee County since 2016 and was re-elected three years ago.
She’s set to appear in court on May 15.
