Political Attention Continues: Walz Plans Monday Stop in EC, Harris Set to Return this Week

Tim Walz is bringing the presidential race back to Eau Claire today.

Walz is scheduled to rally in Eau Claire before heading off for another visit to Green Bay. The stops come as voters in Wisconsin begin to narrow their focus for next month’s election. Walz and Vice President Kamala Harris have the lead in Wisconsin’s presidential race, though some polls say the race is essentially tied. Walz’s trip is just one of many for Democrats across Wisconsin this week.

The political attention doesn’t stop there, Kamala Harris is coming back to Wisconsin as well.

She’s set to make a barnstorming visit to Milwaukee, La Crosse, and Green Bay on Thursday. The trip is the latest for Harris, and the latest sign of just how close Wisconsin is. Thursday’s stop will be Harris’ sixth in the Milwaukee area since she joined the race in late July.
