A pair of high schoolers from Eau Claire are headed to the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
Memorial High School ‘s Micah Zwiefelhofer and North High School’s Max Westom made the cut to play with the Great American Band. The Great American Band is made up of single players from schools across the country. Micah and Max are the only two from Eau Claire who made it this year. The two said they’ve been playing for years, but the parade will be the first time they get to play together. The two will also travel out to New York City together. You’ll be able to see them on Thanksgiving Day when the parade marches through New York and live on TV.
