With technology changing at such a fast rate, the Barron County Sheriff’s Department is launching part two of the community tools which will allow you to assist in solving crimes.
Part two of the launch is the camera location tool. This tool will allow you to register the location of your home or business cameras. By registering your camera location police DO NOT have access to your camera feed, only the camera location.
When minutes count, this tool will allow us to locate any registered camera locations near the active incident. This will then allow authorities to contact you to share any recordings that may assist the department with the active incident.
To register your camera location, visit cityprotect.com, select the Barron County Sheriff’s Department from the agencies list and click on “Register cameras”.
