There’s a hearing today in court in Madison that could change how some people vote in the state.
Disability Rights Wisconsin is suing to get some kind of electronic absentee voting option for disabled voters in the state. The group says forcing disabled voters to have someone else fill out their paper ballot creates an unconstitutional hurdle. The group would like to see the change before this November’s election. The judge in the case is hearing motions today, there’s no word just when full arguments could happen.
