It is going to cost a lot more to insure American Family Filed this year.
The ballpark is looking at a half-million dollar insurance premium spike. The Wisconsin Professional Baseball Park District says it will need to spend a total of 790 thousand-dollars to insure the home of the Brewers. The district says flood insurance is driving the price increase. The Menomonee River runs just a few blocks from the ballpark, but is right next to some of the stadium’s parking lots. Flooding has been a concern for years after what was then Miller Park flooded back in 2009.
