A snowstorm wasn’t the only thing to hit Wisconsin last night. A $151,000 Badger 5 jackpot was split between winning tickets sold at County Line Beverage on 4141 County T in Brodhead and Meijer Gas Station on 7735 Green Bay Rd. in Kenosha for the January 8 drawing.
Monday’s winning numbers were 8-16-24-25-29. Because the jackpot was split two ways, each ticket will win $75,500.
“Hopefully, the winner is a regular,” said John Kelly, owner of County Line Beverage. “Since I’ve owned the store, we had a $90,000 Badger 5 winner several years ago, so this is the second largest winning ticket we’ve sold.”
“When Badger 5 gets over $100,000, the excitement level always picks up.”
