A Janesville man is being sentenced to life in prison for a 2021 death in the Wisconsin Dells.
A Columbia County judge sentenced Jeremy Mondy on multiple charges, including First-Degree Intentional Homicide. Authorities say police were sent out in February 2021 to check on two people staying in a room at 1015 River Road in Wisconsin Dells. Officers were met by Mondy who said he was okay, but a woman was dead. Evidence presented at trial showed Mondy destroyed evidence after the shooting and attempted to flee to Chicago.
