Construction is planned on Fairfax Street, Henry Avenue to E. Hamilton to Mitscher Avenue. Tentative start date is coming up next week, June 26, 2023
Proposed work includes milling the existing bituminous pavement, new bituminous pavement, and pavement marking. This is cooperative maintenance project between the City of Eau Claire and the Town of Washington.
The pavement surface on this section of Fairfax Street has deteriorated rapidly and is in need of repair. No curb and gutter or sidewalk repairs will be done at this time, only street surface repair.
Anticipated completion date is June 30, 2023
