A deadly officer-involved shooting is under investigation in Racine, south of Milwaukee.
The Wisconsin Department of Justice says Racine police pulled over a car just after midnight this morning after getting a shooting report. The DOJ says the driver ran into a field and fired a gun at officers as they approached. The officers fired back and killed the suspect.
The officers involved are on administrative leave while the case is being investigated.
