When we hear stories of missing children, we instantly wish for a happy ending and for this week’s Friday Feel Good we can offer that wish granted!
This was actually a news story as well and we were so thrilled to share the happy ending that it will also be our Friday Feel Good this week as we start in the Upper Peninsula in Michigan where a family was taking a camping trip. It was during that trip that things took a turn.
An 8-year-old boy was unable to find his family’s camp site and was lost in the woods. Search crews went out and we are happy to report that Nante was found safely. Turns out, he led his family and those looking for him and shared part of his secret, he survived for two days in the woods of Michigan by hunkering down and eating snow.
Nante Nieme is safe with the family now and no doubt they will never think of snow the same again!
