Wisconsin lawmakers are once again looking to ban a ban on gas.
A State Senate panel is set to meet tomorrow to talk about legislation that would ban local governments from banning gas-powered power plants. The legislation actually bans any ban that is based on any energy source, but it’s mainly focused on rules or ordinances that would impact natural gas-fired plants. The legislation comes after lawmakers approved statewide bans on local governments who may want to ban gas-powered cars or gas-powered stoves.
