It was Aaron Jones and the running game that got the Packers past the Bear.
Green Bay beat Chicago 27-10 on Sunday Night Football last night. Jones had 15 carries for 132 yards and a touchdown. He also caught three balls, including another touchdown. The Packers are now 1-1 on the season, and take on Tampa Bay next week.
On that note, another Packer season has Wisconsin’s Democratic U.S. Senator pushing to get Packer games on all of the TVs in the state. Senator Tammy Baldwin has, once again, introduced her Go Pack Go Act. Her proposal would allow people who live in Minnesota or Michigan media markets to get the Packers as their default team. Because of the media markets, some folks in the state get Vikings or Lions games. Baldwin has made the same proposal for the past several years.
Speaking of the politician, Senator Tammy Baldwin’s office yesterday said she tested positive for COVID-19. Baldwin’s office says she is vaxxed and boosted. She said she is dealing with minor symptoms.
