A professional skydiver is dead after police say he took the wrong angle on a hard landing yesterday.
It happened about 11:30 a.m. in the pond next to Skydive Midwest in the village of Yorkville. Racine County’s sheriff says fellow skydivers pulled the man out of the water, but could not revive him. The man is from Tennessee, and was in town for the U.S. Parachute Association National Championships, which are set to open on Saturday.
