Wisconsin’s attorney general is joining the list of people celebrating another round of canceled student debt.
A-G Josh Kaul yesterday applauded President Biden for canceling three-point-nine billion-dollars in debt for over 200 thousand students who took classes at the ITT Technical Institute. The school closed in 2016 as complaints piled-up about shady business practices and high student costs. Kaul said students who were ‘defrauded by a predatory for-profit school’ shouldn’t be left holding the bag. It’s not clear how many ITT students in Wisconsin will benefit from the move.
