Wisconsin’s governor expects a challenge to the state’s abortion law when or if Roe v. Wade is struck down.
Governor Evers told reporters in Oshkosh yesterday that he believes Attorney General Josh Kaul will go to court to try and keep abortion legal in Wisconsin. Wisconsin is one of about two dozen states where abortion will become illegal if Roe goes away. That could happen any day now.
The governor says they will do ‘whatever we can’ to try and stop abortion from ending in the state.
