WI Sees Party Line Vote on Gun Control Package

Wisconsin’s two U.S. Senators split their votes on the gun control package on Capitol Hill.

Republican Senator Ron Johnson voted against the plan yesterday, while Democratic Senator Tammy Baldwin voted for it. Johnson says the plan spends too much money, and he’s worried about what red flag laws will mean for law abiding gun owners. Baldwin says the plan expands background checks and will help protect the victims of domestic violence.
